Wu & Associates, Inc, and Daley + Jalboot Architects teamed together to provide design-build services for a LEED-EB renovation of an existing 130,000 SF Readiness Center and a LEED-NC construction of a new 30,000 SF Field Maintenance Shop for the National Guard. The Readiness Center included renovation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and upgrades to kitchen, bathrooms, classrooms, storage areas, arms vaults, and offices. The Field Maintenance Shop included new construction of maintenance bays, flammable areas, controlled waste storage, classrooms, bathrooms, and other storage rooms. Both buildings were designed with LEED building principles including energy conservation features and energy management control systems.
