Wu & Associates is delivering a design-build renovation and expansion of a 1950s-era aircraft hangar at Nellis Air Force Base in support of the U.S. Air Force’s F-35 Air Maintenance Squadron. Contracted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the project includes modernization of the existing facility along with construction of a 6500sf new addition, resulting in an approximately 42,000-square-foot hangar complex.
As work commenced in Spring 2026, the expanded facility integrates new operational, administrative, and support spaces alongside the upgraded hangar bay to meet the demands of next-generation aircraft maintenance. Expected completion in March 2028.
Through close coordination with USACE and base operations, Wu & Associates is maintaining mission continuity while upgrading critical infrastructure to support long-term operational readiness and resilience.
