Wu & Associates is delivering a design-build renovation and expansion of a 1950s-era aircraft hangar at Nellis Air Force Base in support of the U.S. Air Force’s F-35 Air Maintenance Squadron. Contracted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the project includes modernization of the existing facility along with construction of a 6,500 SF new addition, resulting in an approximately 42,000-square-foot hangar complex. This $30 million design-build project represents Wu & Associates’ largest and most complex effort to date.
As work commenced in Spring 2026, the expanded facility integrates new operational, administrative, and support spaces alongside the upgraded hangar bay to meet the demands of next-generation aircraft maintenance. Expected completion is March 2028.
Through close coordination with USACE and base operations, Wu & Associates is maintaining mission continuity while upgrading critical infrastructure to support long-term operational readiness and resilience.
