Charlestown Navy Yard, Building 265 Roof Rehabilitation

Established in 1800, the Charlestown Navy Yard was a pivotal warship manufacturer until its close in 1974. True to Boston revolutionary tradition, the site played a crucial role in each major war that occurred during its lifetime. It is now preserved for visitors as a central part of the Boston National Historical Park.

Wu & Associates is pleased to play a role in this preservation, by rehabilitating the roof of Building 265. Scope includes replacement of seam metal and slate roofs, including flashings, downspouts, gutters, roof hatches, a skylight, and a brick chimney.

Location: Boston, MA
